Eagle

Eagle is a 16.1h Appendix gelding. D.O.B. 1988. We adopted Eagle in October 2000 from Tara Farm Rescue Equine Rescue & Rehabilitation in Coventry, CT. Eagle had been very successful on the 1/4 mile race track in the mid-west. After developing a hoof injury that ended his racing career, he was "no longer needed" by his previous owners and sent to Tara's Farm skinny and malnourished. There, he began gaining weight and his sweet personality returned. He continued to gain weight and now acts as the Head of the Herd at Drafty Pines Farm. He is a wonderfully mild mannered quarter horse thoroughbred mix.
