Parties

We would love to host your party here at the farm. We do not have an indoor riding facility at this time, however, we have a room in our home for hosting your party during the winter months. If you have something special in mind, please feel free to ask us about it! We will do our best to make your event a day to remember. We'd love to help you celebrate your birthday, anniversary, family reunion, girl's day out, business promotion, school event, etc... any reason to HAVE A PARTY!! We can tailor a party however you like or choose from one of our packages below. Please give us a call at (860) 564-4037.

Packages

The following packages are based on a 2 hour time slot, but can be revised to fit your specific party. You and your guests will ride for the first hour and celebrate the party (food, presents, games, etc) the second hour. There is no limit to the number of guests (children or adult) you may have at your event. To help you plan which package may best fit your needs, a good rule of thumb is one horse can accommodate 8-10 guests in one hour.  And, as our way of saying 'thank you' for choosing Drafty Pines Farm, we offer each guest that rides a photo of themselves on the horse.

**Walk- 1 horse, $125 for the first hour, ($50 for each additional hour)
**Trot-2 horses, $175 for the first hour, ($75 for each additional hour)
**Canter -3 horses, (2 for riding, 1 horse to groom & brush while waiting for a ride)  $225 for the first hour, ($100 for each additional hour)

**All About Me- Don't have time to throw a big party but still want to celebrate someone special? This is not a party but a celebration!! It can be for a private birthday, a religious milestone (First Communion, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, etc...), good grades at school, used as a Gift Certificate or "just because"... You can plan to groom the horse and take a guided scenic trail ride to the Quinebaug Valley Hatchery. Cost is $100 for approximately 1 hr 45min. and of course, we will talk all about you!

We support our Military! 10% discount on any party package with proof of Military ID and 10% discount for all current rider’s on any party package.
