On August 6th, 2009 we had the pleasure of hosting the Killingly Central School SCORE program. SCORE is School Community OutReach Program, and they provide safe, structured and supervised activities for middle school students during non-school hours. They serve kids ages 9-14 (grades 5-8). Our focus for the day was to educate the students about the responsibilities involved with owning a rescue horse, including possible financial and emotional strains depending on the condition of the horse. Laurie Leclerc, SCORE coordinator, had a wonderful group of the kids who were very well behaved. They had a great time and loved riding the horses!

We hosted our 2nd Annual Open House May 3rd & May 10th 2009. Our Open Houses is designed to give people an opportunity to come see our barn, the horses and meet Emily & Daniel. It’s a great chance for you to see what we have to offer the horse enthusiast in your family.

November & December 2008

 

Our "Come Ride With Us" event was a great success! On November 29, December 6 and Decemeber 13, we opened our doors and brought families together to ride the horses around the tree farm. Everyone had a lot of fun and we even encouraged a few "non-horse" people to go for a ride. They had a good time as well! We plan to offer this event annually and would like to thank those who came out to support us.
